COVID-19: How We're Keeping You Safe
Get the essential treatments you need from the doctors you trust. We’ll continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other experts. Your safety is our top priority as we #KeepCaringOn.
COVID Screening
All patients, staff and care partners coming to our clinics and hospitals undergo pre-screening for COVID-19 symptoms.
Requiring Masks
Surgical or medical (e.g. KN95, N95) masks should be worn inside all Piedmont facilities. Masks will be provided, if needed.
Social Distancing
Limiting the number of people in shared spaces, enforcing social distancing and using mobile waiting rooms to limit interaction with others.
Enhanced Sanitation
Hospitals and clinics are cleaned and disinfected rigorously, following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) infection prevention guidelines.
Visitor Policies
To protect the safety of our patients and staff, visitation is currently limited at all Piedmont hospitals except in special circumstances (i.e. care partners).
Restrictions may differ slightly by location. Find out what patients and care partners need to know at your hospital:
At Piedmont clinics, the following visitor restrictions are in place:
- An approved care partner (i.e. family member or caregiver) may accompany the patient in the patient’s room but cannot be present during aerosol-producing procedures.
- All other visitors must remain in the car outside of the waiting area.
- All staff screened at entrance via a signs/symptoms quarantine screen.
- Care partners are required to wear a face mask.
