You will want to visit one of our convenient locations in Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Cartersville, Columbus, Fayetteville, Macon, Newnan, Newton, Rockdale, Stockbridge and Jasper to get to know where you will have your baby. Register online or call 877-527-3712 to schedule a tour of our comfortable maternity accommodations and learn what to expect when the big day arrives.

No matter which Piedmont location is right for you, you can give birth in spacious and well-appointed Labor-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) rooms for a vaginal birth. Each private LDR is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, private bathrooms and a sleeping area for co-parents.

For cesarean deliveries, Piedmont has dedicated operating rooms in the labor and delivery area, with a special recovery area, allowing you to remain with your baby and partner before settling into your postpartum room.

Following your child's birth, families will stay in a postpartum room for rest and recovery. Newborns stay in the same room as their mothers and are cared for jointly by one nurse to ensure bonding time and support breastfeeding. Some standard procedures may be done outside the room as well.
