Overview

You will want to visit one of our convenient locations to get to know where you will have your baby. No matter which Piedmont location is right for you, spacious, well-appointed Labor-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) rooms provide comfort for vaginal births. Each private LDR is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, private bathrooms and a sleeping area for co-parents.

For cesarean deliveries, Piedmont has dedicated operating rooms and a special recovery area. You can remain with your baby and partner before settling into your postpartum room.

Following your child's birth, families will stay in a postpartum room for rest and recovery. Newborns stay in the same room as their mothers, with one nurse caring for both. This supports bonding time and breastfeeding. Some standard procedures may be done outside the room as well.
