When the unexpected happens, the Neonatal Transport Team, made up of nurses and a registered respiratory therapist, ensures our tiniest patients are brought to the NICU with the highest levels of efficiency and care. The Neonatal Transport Team makes more than 200 trips a year in two state-of-the-art ambulances, ensuring that newborns in 21 surrounding counties are cared for when they need it the most.
