The Wound and Hyperbaric Center is looking for volunteers with customer service and people skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing hospital orientation and directions to visitors and patients
• Escorting stable patients and family to desired location in the hospital or on hospital grounds
• Staffing the Reception Desk in the Wound Care Center
• Monitoring wheelchair/staxi availability (retrieving as needed)
• Monitoring lobbies, public areas for cleanliness
• Performing light clerical duties: Answering the phones, filing charts faxing forms and placing reminder calls to prospective patients
• Assisting with transporting/escorting stable patients to other areas of the hospital if needed, (laboratory, ODC, admissions, vascular lab)

There is no heavy lifting and there are no hazardous materials involved. Adults and teens are welcome to volunteer for the Wound and Hyperbaric Center.
