Volunteer at Piedmont Fayette

Overview
Piedmont Fayette Hospital volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals who have contributed more than 1 million service hours to our patients, families, staff and community. Volunteers are an essential part of our team, helping us achieve our mission of positively impacting every life we touch.
Because of the onboarding requirements, we require that volunteers make at least a 1-year commitment. If you are interested in volunteering with us, the first step is to complete our online application.
Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by Volunteer Services to review volunteer requirements and opportunities.
All adult volunteers are required to complete a background check, health screening, and hospital orientation. Long term volunteers will be required to attend an annual training session to remain informed and compliant with hospital policy and procedures.
Volunteer opportunities are available in various service areas, with most shifts offered five days a week during mornings and afternoons.

Please note: The Auxiliary is not an internship program, nor is it a means to obtain a job within the hospital. We view volunteering as a long-term commitment and seek individuals who will serve for years to come. The Auxiliary does not place community service volunteers. If you are looking to fulfill a court ordered community service requirement, you will need to contact Piedmont Fayette Hospital Security.
