Piedmont Athens Regional Adult Volunteers

Over 50 adults volunteer their time on a regular basis with Piedmont Athens Regional. Volunteers serve at our information desks, in our gift shop, and throughout the hospital. We do require that volunteers make at least a 3-month commitment. If you are interested in volunteering with us, the first step is to complete our online application.

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by Volunteer Services to review volunteer requirements and opportunities.

All adult volunteers are required to complete a background check, health screening, and hospital orientation. We provide an annual training session for volunteers who choose to volunteer long-term.

While volunteers offer their services free of charge, they are a valuable piece of the Piedmont Athens Regional family. Each year our adult volunteers are invited to a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, hosted by Volunteer Services. This is our chance to say thank you and recognize the way you have supported us!
