How do I learn more about the executive health program?

There are several ways to learn more about the Executive Health Program at Piedmont:

How does the Piedmont executive health team work with my regular primary care physician?

Most participants in the Executive Health Program at Piedmont have regular primary care physicians. The executive health exam is intended to complement and enhance your regular preventive and primary care - not replace it. To that extent, our executive health team will coordinate with your regular physicians by providing them with necessary test results, findings and recommendations. In addition, we are happy to have a discussion with your regular primary care physician after your executive health exam, if you so desire.

What if my physical reveals new health issues or requires additional follow-up care?

Your executive health exam may reveal a need for new care or additional follow-up. If this happens, we can help coordinate your care across the Piedmont network. Typically, this care does not happen the same day as your executive health exam but is coordinated and scheduled in an expedited manner. Follow-up care is not included in the costs of the executive health exam, and typically can be billed to your insurance.

Where does the program take place?

The Executive Health Program at Piedmont takes place on the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital campus, located in Buckhead, Atlanta. Your day will start at the brand new Piedmont Concierge suite located at 105 Collier Road. You will then be escorted to various points on campus to receive the care you need.

Piedmont is currently developing other sister Executive Health Programs across the state of Georgia and looks forward to providing you care close to home.

How does the individual program differ from the Corporate Partners program?

The executive health exam is similar for individuals and for those participating as part of an employer-sponsored package. Employer-sponsored packages maintain the ability to bill insurance, whereas the individual package is self-pay only. Regardless of how you participate in the Executive Health Program at  Piedmont, you will receive the same level of care and coordination, an exceptional experience and a day tailored to you.
