The 2021 Piedmont Oncology Symposium was a great success and we want to thank all the attendees, sponsors, vendors and speakers who made this year’s conference possible. APRNS, oncology nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and physicians were able to build a strong and collaborative partnership with other members of patient cancer care teams.
About the Conference
Every year, Piedmont Oncology hosts a symposium to build collaborative partnerships with other members of the oncology care team and oncology specialists. As we continue to grow as your premier community cancer center, we look to foster coordination and clinical integration at every level of the patient's journey.
Though topics change yearly, 2021’s symposium helped the participant to achieve a higher level of understanding about cancer and its treatment. This interprofessional activity is designed for APRNs, oncology nurses, PAs, pharmacists, and physicians to help build a strong and collaborative partnership with other members of the cancer care team as well as oncology specialists.
This year’s event also allowed participants to earn continuing education credits. Attendees will be able to earn 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and 5.0 Nursing Contact Hours*.
