When scheduling a screening mammogram online, patients who have seen a Piedmont provider previously, or who have previously disclosed an external Primary Care Provider, OBGYN or Breast Surgeon to Piedmont Healthcare, may have the results of their mammogram sent to that provider. Patients who are new to Piedmont will be assigned a Piedmont provider to whom their results will be sent. This provider information will be included in the confirmation email sent to you upon scheduling. You will be given the opportunity to change the provider to whom your results are sent if you so choose, by calling our scheduling team. Please look for additional details in your confirmation email after scheduling.

Assignment of physician for purposes of your mammogram does not establish a new physician-patient relationship. Performance of these services does not reflect express or implied consent of the physician to a physician-patient relationship. By agreeing to these terms, patient acknowledges that no physician-patient relationship is hereby established.
