Whether you need a yearly mammogram screening or are referred for a biopsy or MRI, we will support you through every stage of the process. Our mission is to detect and diagnose breast cancer in its earliest stages.

The importance of screening mammograms

In the United States, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes. Eighty percent of these women do not have any of the reported risk factors, other than being female and aging. The key to surviving breast cancer is early diagnosis. A mammogram is the first line of defense against breast cancer, and it remains the most reliable diagnostic tool for doctors.

When should you get a mammogram?

Ask your primary care provider or gynecologist to do a breast cancer risk assessment.

If you have an average risk of breast cancer, the American College of Radiology (ACR) recommends getting a mammogram every year beginning at age 40.

If you have a higher-than-average risk, the guidelines can vary based on your individual risk factors. Generally, you should start having yearly mammograms at age 30 and annual breast MRIs beginning between the ages of 25 and 35.
