Interventional Pulmonary Program

Interventional Pulmonary is an area of pulmonary medicine focusing on diagnosing and treating airway, lung, pleural and mediastinal conditions using minimally invasive techniques.

Our program was established in 2017 when Dr. Ralitza Martin joined Piedmont Healthcare. We offer a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy procedure suite and a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Our program is the first in the state of Georgia to offer endobronchial lung volume reduction valves for patients with severe emphysema.

Dr. Martin is board certified in Interventional Pulmonology and works closely with other specialties, including thoracic surgery, radiology, oncology, radiation oncology and pathology. Our goal is to focus on high quality, comprehensive, patient-centered care. We strive to provide every patient with a unique and exceptional experience.
