When to go to the ER:

  • Any life- or limb-threatening event
  • Dislocated joints
  • Heavy, uncontrolled bleeding
  • Convulsions, seizures or loss of consciousness
  • Deep knife wounds or gunshot wounds
  • Severe burns
  • Poisoning or overdose
  • Pregnancy-related problems
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Signs of a heart attack: chest pain lasting longer than 2 minutes
  • Signs of a stroke: loss of vision, sudden numbness, weakness, slurred speech or confusion

Piedmont Urgent Care provides vaccinations for certain conditions; Piedmont UrgentCare by WellStreet locations can administer the flu vaccine. Piedmont Urgent Care providers cannot administer the COVID-19 vaccine during an office visit at this time.
