Relaxing 15-minute "happy hour"

"At the end of a long, stressful workday, instead of going for a drink, try this 15-minute routine to unwind," says Mariah Hinson, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center.

All you'll need is a sturdy chair and an exercise mat if you have one handy.

Happy hour standing moves:

  • Chair squats
  • Calf raises
  • Arm circles
  • Neck rolls
  • Lunges
  • Quad stretch
  • Hamstring stretch
  • Shoulder stretch
  • Side reach

Happy hour mat exercises:

  • Butterfly stretch
  • Hip stretch
  • Neck stretches
  • Deep breaths
