Have you seen the picture of the newborn baby grasping his mother's IUD? IUDs, or intrauterine devices, are usually 99 percent effective, but on this occasion-- not so much. 

In the premiere episode of The Doc Dose, we asked Tia Guster, M.D., an obstetrician and gynecologist at Piedmont, how often something like this could happen.
