The Transplant Unit is looking for volunteers with good customer service, good mobility if navigating, and good computer skills if doing that kind of service. They are in need of help Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Attending the waiting room
• Escorting patients – a navigator to testing
• Helping patients to cars after clinic visit
• Providing follow-up discharge calls
• Giving reminder calls to patients
• Giving tours of the inpatient unit
• Stocking supplies
• Filing
• Scanning and attaching records
• Pulling regulatory documents and scanning
• Preparing packets for patients
• Copying

Volunteers may need to be able to push people in wheelchairs. The only lifting will be with filing, getting supplies or assembling packets. No hazardous chemicals are involved. Adults and teens are welcome to volunteer for the Transplant Unit.
