Pregnancy and newborn care Fayette

Maternity care at Piedmont Fayette
*Piedmont Fayette is a Level III designated NICU facility
At Piedmont Fayette Hospital, our Family Care Center includes the Obstetrical Emergency Department, which treats patients who are 20 weeks or more pregnant and have obstetric concerns. The area is open 24 hours a day and has an in-house OB/GYN provider to evaluate each patient.
The Family Care Center offers 32 private rooms for OB/GYN patients and women’s surgeries. We offer a nursery, staffed with an RN, where procedures are done, but we recommend infants stay in the room with their family so care can be given to the infant with the help of Family Care Center staff. Lactation support is available at delivery; daily consults and continues after discharge.
Maternity classes
Piedmont Healthcare offers a variety of maternity and educational classes throughout metro Atlanta and surrounding counties.
Maternity tours
Our tour allows expectant families to visit our maternity center, including Labor and Delivery and Family Care Center (mother/baby unit). Information about the admission process will be provided, and questions will be answered.
