Oncology rehabilitation can help treat concerns that may arise after cancer treatment, including:
- Pain
- Hypersensitivity to touch
- Swelling and lymphedema
- Posture, mobility, strength and endurance issues
You may be a candidate for our oncology rehabilitation program if you’ve undergone:
- A mastectomy
- A lumpectomy
- Breast reconstruction
- Axillary dissection (surgery to remove lymph nodes from the armpit area)
- Sentinel node biopsy (biopsy to determine if cancer has spread)
- Radiation therapy
