Why Piedmont

Advanced treatment
Our licensed and certified audiologists are specially trained in treating conditions that affect your hearing.

Multidisciplinary approach
We use a range of treatments and a team approach to create a customized care plan for you.

Personalized education
We offer education to help you understand your treatment options.
Our approach
Our team offers individual audiology therapy sessions and multidisciplinary treatments. First, you’ll receive a comprehensive hearing evaluation with an audiologist. Minimally invasive and noninvasive testing may include:
- Auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing
- Behavioral, immittance, tympanometry and evoked otoacoustic emissions testing
- Central auditory processing evaluation
- Cochlear implant candidacy evaluation
Then, we’ll create a customized plan to help you improve your hearing as much as possible.
If you require multiple forms of treatment, you’ll have the option to schedule all of your therapies on the same day (for most procedures).
Hearing services treatment options
- Assistive listening device consultation: We’ll help you choose the right assistive device to improve your hearing.
- Cochlear implant programming: Your audiologist will adjust the electrical stimulation levels in the implant to improve hearing.
- Hearing aid fitting, maintenance, repair and analysis: We offer state-of-the-art digital hearing aid technology with smartphone connectivity options.
