Yes. We have the staff, facilities and protocols to care for patients with infectious diseases and keep people safe. Each Piedmont facility has rooms that isolate infectious patients and feature ventilation systems that do not allow the exchange of air with other areas of the hospital.

In-person visits are available for essential health needs, and we’re taking every precaution to keep you safe. These measures include, but are not limited to:
Screening patients and staff. Staff members will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Patients also need to wear face masks/coverings and gloves, which they should bring from home.
Limiting the number of people in shared space and enforcing social distancing. Visitors are not allowed; however, care partners are allowed in special circumstances.
Changing waiting room procedures. At clinics and other non-hospital facilities, patients will be asked to stay in their cars until receiving a call or text from the office to enter.
