Piedmont MyChart is your patient portal for Piedmont Healthcare. It is the best way to manage all aspects of your care. Piedmont MyChart offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical records. It enables you to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about your health. With Piedmont MyChart, you can use the Internet to:
- NEW! Receive text message notifications.
- NEW! Request medical records.
- Request medical appointments.
- View your health summary from the Piedmont MyChart electronic health record.
- View test results.
- Request prescription renewals.
- Access trusted health information resources.
- Communicate electronically and securely with your medical care team.
Piedmont Healthcare patients have a number of options for signing up for Piedmont MyChart. At your next office visit, you will be emailed an activation code at check-in, and your nurse or provider may discuss the importance of using Piedmont MyChart with you. Be sure to ask your provider’s office about Piedmont MyChart if you have questions about signing up.
If you do not want to wait for an office visit, you can sign up HERE. Once we have verified your identity, we can set up your account.
If your activation code has expired, or if you are having trouble verifying your identity to create an account, please contact our Help Desk at 855.788.6277.
No, your activation code is not your Piedmont MyChart ID or password. You will use this code only once to log into Piedmont MyChart for the first time. (The code will expire after you have used it or after 30 days). When you log into Piedmont MyChart the first time, you will then be asked to create your own unique Piedmont MyChart ID and password.
You can access Piedmont MyChart online at https://mychart.piedmont.org, or you can access Piedmont MyChart through the mobile app. To download the mobile app, available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, search “MyChart” in the app store and select to download. Once you have downloaded the Piedmont MyChart app to your device, open the application and select Piedmont Healthcare as your healthcare provider. Log in using your username or password – you can even set up facial recognition to make it easier to log in next time.
You can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link on the Piedmont MyChart homepage. You can also contact our Help Desk at 855.788.6277 for a Piedmont MyChart password reset. If you are using Piedmont MyChart via the mobile app, don’t forget to set up facial recognition! This can help you from having to remember your password each time you log in.
You can view another individual’s information in Piedmont MyChart if you are granted proxy access. Piedmont Healthcare reviews requests for proxy access carefully before granting proxy access. Proxy access allows a parent (or guardian) to log into their personal Piedmont MyChart account, and then connect to information regarding their family member. Complete a Proxy Consent Form and return it to one of our medical facilities to request access to this convenient service.

In general, you should expect a reply within 2 business days. We do our best to respond in a timely manner. If you have an emergency or an urgent medical issue, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call your doctor.
Remember that messages you send in Piedmont MyChart become part of your legal medical record.
When you send a Piedmont MyChart message, a nurse in your provider’s office may help address your question if they can help.
MyChart pulls information from the electronic medical record and gets updated after each visit you have with a Piedmont Healthcare provider. If you see incorrect information in Piedmont MyChart, be sure to ask your provider to correct it at your next visit.
Your test results are released to your Piedmont MyChart account immediately once they are finalized.

Your provider is able to determine which types of test results are able to be accessed through Piedmont MyChart. Further, tests of a very sensitive nature are not released to Piedmont MyChart.
The Symptom Checker is a digital tool that helps guide patients to the appropriate level of care based on symptom severity. The symptom checker is designed to provide patients general information as to how they might seek care immediately, schedule an appointment, or manage symptoms at home. A FAQ is available here.
Yes. Through Share Everywhere, you can give one-time access to your health information to any provider with a computer and internet access. Once logged into MyChart, select the Menu. Scroll down to the “Sharing” section and select “Share Everywhere”.
You can also download information about your visits, and link your account with other healthcare organizations that have MyChart. To do this, once logged into MyChart, select the Menu. Scroll down to the “Sharing” section and select “Share My Record”.
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal ID's, and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Further, Piedmont MyChart uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with Piedmont MyChart. Unlike conventional e-mail, all Piedmont MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.
Piedmont MyChart is owned and operated by Epic Systems Corporation and licensed to Piedmont Healthcare. Piedmont MyChart is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and e-mail address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by Piedmont MyChart.
