How to manage your images in Piedmont MyChart

Introducing the Fuji Mobility Viewer

The Fuji Mobility Viewer is a secure tool that lets you view and download your medical images, like X-rays, CT scans, and MRls, directly from your Piedmont MyChart account.

How to use it

1: Log into Piedmont MyChart

• Go to the Piedmont MyChart website or app.
• Enter your username and password.
• Complete two-step verification if prompted.

2: Find your images

• From the Piedmont MyChart home screen, select: Menu ➔ Test Results, and click on the imaging procedure you are interested in viewing.

• If images are available for online viewing, a link to the Fuji Mobility Viewer will appear below the Study Result section.

3: Click on the Fuji Mobility Viewer link

• A new window will open directly to the first image in the study.
• There are various tools available to view and scroll through images.
• If the link does not work or does not display, please follow the instructions on piedmont.org to request your medical records.

4: Use the viewer tools

Zoom In/Out
Use the zoom tool or pinch on mobile.

 

Scroll Through Images:
Use the arrow buttons under the navigation menu at the top to move between images/series.

 

Full Screen:
Tap the full-screen icon in the lower right for a larger view.

 

Other tools and features are available for review in the help guide under the Documentation Menu icon. Not all features in the help guide are available to patients.

 

 

5: Download your images

1: Click the Search Panel icon in the top left.

 

2. Click the worklist menu icon next to the study details.

 

3. Click the 'Download Study' icon in the viewer toolbar.*

 

Your images will be saved in a zip format. The image files are in an industry standard format called DICOM that your healthcare provider can use for viewing in their image management system.

 

*Please ensure any downloaded files are stored on a secure drive that is password protected to safeguard your patient information.

 

6: Close the viewer

• When you have finished downloading your desired images, click Close or X in the top corner.
• You can return to Piedmont MyChart anytime to view or download your images again.

 

Tips for best experience

• Use a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) for best performance.
• Make sure pop-ups are allowed for Piedmont MyChart.
