Columbus, Ga. (October 6, 2026) - The Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation hosted its 24th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon on Oct. 6 benefiting the Piedmont Elena Amos Breast Care Center at the John B. Amos Cancer Center.

Guests enjoyed the Pink Partner Expo with area vendors and sponsors, lunch, a keynote address from Barbara Dooley (the wife of the late UGA football head coach Vince Dooley), an inspiring story of hope from our 2026 featured breast cancer survivor Aissa French and met the John B. Amos Cancer Center’s two new breast surgeons.

With more than 1,200 attendees each year, this event is a powerful opportunity to connect with the community while supporting an important mission. Proceeds from the event will help fund important advancements— including a new mammography unit, an additional upright breast biopsy unit and enhancements that will improve the patient experience and help Piedmont meet the growing needs of women in our region.

Your support will help Piedmont Oncology continue advancing breast care programs and services. Visit givecolumbus.piedmont.org/bca or contact the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation at 706.660.6115 to make a donation. There is also an online merchandise shop where supporters can order exclusive Piedmont Elena Amos Breast Care Center apparel and merchandise, with all proceeds benefiting breast care right here at home.
