Piedmont Columbus Regional is is recognized by the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) for working to improve stroke patient care and outcomes. Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is one of nine hospitals in Georgia to earn Target: Stroke Honor Roll designation - a national quality improvement campaign created to improve outcomes for ischemic stroke patients by delivering a clot-busting drug within 60 minutes of arrival at the hospital.
