Our multi-disciplinary team approach ensures a memorable and uniquely personal experience.
Experience family-centered care designed for you, with access to:
- A multi-disciplinary team specializing in maternity and newborn care
- Private, well-appointed rooms throughout triage, labor, birth and family care
- Facilities, equipment and trained staff to support you in labor as available and medically appropriate, including tubs and showers for hydrotherapy, portable/wireless fetal monitor to support ambulation, adjustable room temperature and lighting, peanut & standard birthing balls, mirrors, squat bars, etc.
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Rooming-In care with an available holding nursery
- Certified Lactation Consultants (RN/IBCLC) available daily
- Complementary Wi-Fi
- On-demand education for new families
- The Waters Pavilion offers six thoughtfully-designed two-room suites, offering the comforts of a fine hotel for the patient who desires enhanced amenities and services as a complement to our world-class healthcare, at an additional cost.
- Many educational opportunities for expectant and new families, including childbirth, breastfeeding classes, infant CPR & baby basics. We also offer support groups for new parents after your baby is born.

Generations of babies have been welcomed into the world at Piedmont Atlanta through the caring hands of Piedmont Atlanta’s Women's Services staff. The new Grass Family Women's Center represents our commitment to providing a high-quality patient experience in a serene environment that promotes comfort, safety, calmness and healing. We are happy to report that Phase I of the Grass Family Women’s Center was completed in March 2023 and there’s more to come!

- Improved access to natural daylight and views promoting calm and healing.
- Purposeful, larger relaxing patient rooms equipped with the latest technologies for increased comfort.
- Increased privacy and serenity with a dedicated floor within the maternity unit.
- Quality gathering spaces for families to welcome their newest members.
- Easier accessibility with a designated entrance.
Expanding Services:
- The Grass Family Women's Center is 73% larger than the previous Piedmont Atlanta Maternity designated space.
- Enhanced services in Labor and Delivery, Family Care Center, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Future expansion plans for an additional 20 en-suites in the Piedmont Atlanta Family Care Center.
