Chaplains are professional clergy trained in clinical settings to serve as members of the healthcare team. They provide spiritual, emotional and grief support to patients and their loved ones. Sources of Healing at Piedmont Athens Regional

  • The Chapel - On the first floor near the main Prince Tower Lobby elevators, the Chapel is open 24 hours a day.
     
  • The Community Garden - Take a short walk to find this garden along Talmadge Drive, just past the Medical Services Building.
     
  • Piedmont Athens Regional Auxiliary Healing Garden - Cross Talmadge Drive to discover this garden behind the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support. It features a labyrinth, bridges, benches and accessible paths.
     
  • Grief Support Group - Our Grief Support Group is for those who’ve lost loved ones. You will meet others on the grief journey and gain strength from the support and stories shared.
