Stephanie's heart scare during pregnancy

First-time mom Stephanie thought back pain, swelling and difficulty breathing were normal for her third trimester, but a routine visit showed that she had dangerously high blood pressure.

She was sent to Piedmont Atlanta where she delivered her baby, and that’s when things took a turn for the worse. Thanks to the swift action and quality care of the Piedmont team, Stephanie is now living life to the fullest. She credits her care team with saving her life.
