Jessica K. Davis is the Gifts Officer, Grateful Patient Program, for the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation. In her role, she serves as a direct link between medical staff and the Foundation, as well as provides nonprofit and fundraising training opportunities and advisement to physicians, nurses, and other medical staff across the Piedmont Healthcare system.

Jessica started her career with Home Depot as a customer service specialist in 2002. She enjoyed a variety of roles and growth opportunities with the company until her departure as a supervisor in 2006, when she left to take on a role with Trane Commercial Heating and Air. She started as an inside sales representative, but quickly moved into a resource coordinator role. During that time Jessica had several opportunities to fulfill urgent needs for customers across a wide variety of industries, but it was the critical needs of local hospitals that stood out the most. The ability to help restore vital functions in critical areas inspired her to work towards a career change from private industry to non-profit healthcare.

Jessica began her non-profit career at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in 2012 as the executive assistant to the neurosciences leadership team. Her responsibilities there quickly expanded to encompass physician recruitment, physician student residency programming and recruitment, and physician contract management, as well as a wide variety of projects working directly with the physicians in the practices.

Jessica joined Piedmont in 2015 as an executive administrative assistant to support multiple executive directors and a vice president within the Piedmont Heart Institute. It was there that she learned more about plans for the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Campus Expansion, and she was compelled to help the organization raise the necessary funds to construct the new building. She was afforded the opportunity to contribute when she joined the Foundation in 2016, and she has thoroughly enjoyed discovering more about the power of philanthropy every day.

Jessica graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Romance Languages. She also has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), awarded in 2010 by the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.

A Delaware native, Jessica moved to Georgia in 1996 and currently resides in Johns Creek. Jessica enjoys learning, volunteering, and most of all, any time she gets to spend with her young son.
