Save the date: Inaugural Champions of Care Gala to benefit Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation
Athens, Ga. (August 12, 2025) – The Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation has announced that it will hold the Champions of Care Gala, an evening celebrating compassion care, in January. This evening of elegance will honor the individuals and teams who go above and beyond to champion exceptional health care in our community. The gala will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026 at The Classic Center.
“The Champions of Care Gala is more than a celebration—it’s a tribute to the people who make healing possible every day,” said Steven Dasher, executive director of Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation. “Piedmont is a nonprofit system and philanthropy is an important vehicle to ensure our long-term success. We invite our community to join us in recognizing these everyday heroes and supporting the future of healthcare in our region.”
