
Piedmont Walton reminds expectant mothers to register for free Basics of Breastfeeding class

Monroe, Ga. (May 18, 2026) – Piedmont Walton is reminding expectant mothers that there is still time to register for its free Basics of Breastfeeding class, with the next session scheduled for this Wednesday, May 21 at 6 p.m.
The class is designed to help expectant mothers prepare for breastfeeding before their baby arrives. It is open to expecting parents who are 20 weeks pregnant or further along and focuses on building confidence and practical skills for breastfeeding success.
Topics covered include the importance and benefits of breastfeeding, preparation during pregnancy, what to expect during the “golden hour” after birth, positioning and latch techniques, making enough milk for the baby, and addressing common breastfeeding challenges.
Classes are held at Piedmont Walton, 2151 W. Spring St., Building 1, Suite 100.
