Piedmont Rockdale and Piedmont Oncology welcome fellowship-trained breast surgeon
Conyers, Ga. (January 26, 2026) – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Oncology are excited to welcome Portia Siwawa, MD, a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist. Dr. Siwawa will work closely with Priya Vishnubhotla, MD, a medical oncologist at Piedmont Rockdale who specializes in breast cancer.
Dr. Siwawa has 10 years of experience in breast cancer management. She practiced at Surgical Oncology of North Georgia/Advanced Breast Care, Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Northside Hospital, and most recently Southern Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Siwawa received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed a general surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
