Piedmont recognized as one of Americas Greatest Workplaces 2025

Published: August 19, 2025

Atlanta, Ga. (Aug. 18, 2025) – For the second time since the award’s inception, Piedmont has been named by Newsweek as one of America’s greatest workplaces for parents and families.

For working parents across America, the ability of a company to respect and support their needs is a vital factor in determining where they choose to grow their career, Newsweek noted, adding that businesses that strive to incorporate better practices for parents and families have proven to be more desirable places for them to work.

“Piedmont is a national destination for clinical care and we are proud of all of our workers and clinicians who have made that become a reality,” Piedmont Healthcare President and CEO Kevin Brown said. “This honor is validation of the great team we have put together at Piedmont.”

The 2025 ranking is based on an extensive large-scale survey of more than 200,000 working parents and over 2.6 million company reviews.

Piedmont has also recent been recognized again Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2025 and as one America's Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare 2025.

“At Piedmont, our people are our greatest asset, and these honors are a testament to our efforts to make Piedmont a great work environment. As we say, ‘You will come to Piedmont for the job, but you will stay for the people that you work with,’” said Piedmont Chief Human Resources Officer Alison Smith.

For the latter two rankings, Newsweek and Plant-A assessed over 400,000 employee interviews and over 4.9 million comprehensive company reviews. Respondents provided insights and experiences on corporate culture, working conditions and other aspects of their current employer and other companies they know.

“Companies that emphasize building a strong workplace environment see higher levels of employee engagement. With that comes a range of benefits,” stated Jennifer Cunningham, Newsweek’s Editor-in-Chief. “The companies on this list likely reap the rewards of stronger client loyalty and improved employee retention—clear signs that a thriving workplace benefits everyone involved.”
