Lovejoy, Ga. (October 28, 2026) – Piedmont has expanded access to primary care options with the opening of its first location in Clayton County, Piedmont Primary Care of Lovejoy.

The new clinic is located at 11581 Tara Boulevard, Suite 100, near Lovejoy Road.

“We are excited to become part of the Lovejoy community and provide patients with a trusted place to turn for their healthcare needs,” said Michelle Fisher, president of Piedmont Primary Care & Retail Services. “Primary care plays an important role in helping people stay healthy throughout every stage of life, and we look forward to building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families in this community.”

Primary care providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, help patients manage their overall health through routine checkups, preventive care, chronic disease management and treatment for illnesses and injuries. They also coordinate care with specialists when needed, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey.

“The opening of this practice is an important investment in the health and well-being of our community,” said Stephen Porter, CEO of Piedmont Fayette. “Having greater access to primary care means more opportunities for patients to receive preventive care, manage ongoing health conditions and build lasting relationships with providers who understand their individual needs.”

Saif Naseeruddin, MD, is accepting new patients at Piedmont Primary Care of Lovejoy.

Dr. Naseeruddin is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. He completed his residency training at Summa Health System Barberton Campus in Akron, Ohio, before practicing medicine with University Hospitals in the Cleveland area. He also served as a clinical instructor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, helping train future physicians.

His clinical interests include heart disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Appointments are available for a variety of services, including well-and-sick visits, annual physicals, vaccinations and immunizations, preventive care, women's health and wellness and more. Patients also have access to same-day appointments, online scheduling and video visits.
