Piedmont Oncology welcomes head and neck oncologic surgeon

Atlanta (July 27, 2026) – Piedmont Oncology welcomes Tyler Randolph Halle, MD, an experienced board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon, to its team of cancer specialists. Dr. Halle, who is fellowship-trained, bolsters Piedmont’s team in this exceptionally specialized area, which requires a high degree of clinical acumen. He will be based out of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Dr. Halle specializes in the comprehensive management of patients with cancerous or benign head and neck tumors, including reconstructive plastic surgery of the head and neck. He has advanced training in minimally invasive head and neck tumor removal and microvascular reconstructive surgery, helping restore form and function for patients affected by cancer, trauma and other head and neck conditions.

Dr. Halle earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine. He continued on to a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Emory University and affiliated hospitals, which he then followed with a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology, microvascular reconstruction, and robotic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Halle will be Piedmont’s first fellowship-trained head and neck surgeon in Atlanta and the second in the Piedmont system.
