Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation to host 5th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic for children

Columbus, Ga. (August 17, 2026) - Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation will host its fifth annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus Conference Center.
“Children and their stuffed animal will visit stations to learn about the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital to help take some of the fear out of a potential future hospital visit,” said Piedmont Columbus Foundation Executive Director Jessie Brown. “Checkups will include X-rays, casting clinic, vaccinations and more.”
Families can also enjoy first aid and safety activities, tours of ambulances, police cars and firetrucks plus face painting and crafts. The event is free and open to the community.
The Piedmont Columbus Foundation thanks Brasfield & Gorrie, the Shelby and Wanda Amos Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology, Fancy That, Coldwell Banker Kennon & Parker, Columbus Civic Center and Coca-Cola for supporting this year’s event.
