Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation, Southern Alliance Radiology host annual breast cancer luncheon

Columbus, Ga. (September 30, 2026) - Join the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center on Tuesday, Oct. 6 for the 24th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon benefiting the Piedmont Elena Amos Breast Care Center at the John B. Amos Cancer Center. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. so guests can enjoy the Pink Partner Expo with area vendors and sponsors from across the region.

The tradition of entertaining will continue at 11:30 a.m. with lunch, a keynote address from Barbara Dooley (the wife of the late UGA football head coach Vince Dooley), and an inspiring story of hope from our 2026 featured breast cancer survivor Aissa French. With more than 1,200 attendees each year, this event is a powerful opportunity to connect with the community while supporting an important mission.

This special event brings our community together to support the future of breast care at the Piedmont Elena Amos Breast Care Center. This year, proceeds will help fund important advancements, including a new mammography unit, an additional upright breast biopsy unit and enhancements that will improve the patient experience and help us meet the growing needs of women in our region.
