Piedmont Cartersville promotes wellness at Toyo Tires Health Fair

White, Ga. (June 25, 2026) - Piedmont Cartersville partnered once again with Toyo Tires to bring health and wellness directly to employees during the Building a Healthier You Wellness Health Fair, held June 23 and June 25 at the Toyo Tires facility in White, Georgia. The two-day event welcomed employees during morning shifts and emphasized the importance of preventive care and healthy living.

Throughout both mornings, Piedmont Cartersville team members from a wide range of service lines - including Cardiovascular and Stroke, Emergency and Trauma, Laboratory, Breast Imaging, Family Care, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Wound Care, Diabetes Management, and Primary Care - connected with employees by providing hands-on education, screenings, and practical wellness tips. The event transformed the company’s break room into an interactive space focused on health awareness and early detection.

Employees had the opportunity to participate in blood pressure and glucose screenings, learn hands-only CPR and Stop the Bleed techniques, receive cancer prevention information and screening reminders, and gather resources related to childbirth education, orthopedic care, and chronic disease management. Piedmont staff also shared guidance on injury prevention and safe lifting techniques - an important focus given the physical demands of the manufacturing environment.
