Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center expands access to women's health care with new OB/GYN practice
Cartersville, Ga. (July 7, 2026) — Piedmont is expanding access to women’s health care in Bartow County with the opening of Piedmont Physicians OB/GYN at Cartersville, a new practice led by board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist Jessica Castleberry, MD. The practice is now accepting new patients and offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care tailored to women at every stage of life.
The opening of Piedmont Physicians OB/GYN at Cartersville reflects Piedmont’s commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of women throughout Northwest Georgia by providing greater access to high-quality, personalized care close to home.
“Women deserve access to compassionate, expert healthcare that supports them through every stage of life,” Dr. Castleberry said. “I am excited to establish this new practice in Cartersville and build meaningful relationships with patients while providing individualized care that empowers women to take charge of their health.”
Dr. Castleberry provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, including preventive care, annual wellness exams, pregnancy care, cervical cancer screening and treatment, menopause management, family planning and contraceptive services. Her clinical interests include pre-invasive cervical cancer screening and treatment, robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and menopause care.
Patients will also have access to a variety of convenient in-office procedures, including endometrial biopsies, colposcopy with cervical biopsy when indicated, vulvar biopsies, skin tag and mole removal, intrauterine device (IUD) placement and Nexplanon insertion.
