Augusta, Ga. (January 15, 2026) – Piedmont today announced that Nikki McLain has been named Chief Financial Officer for its Augusta Clinical Hub, effective January 11, 2026. McLain has been serving as interim CFO since August 2025, following the retirement of former CFO Dave Belkoski.

McLain previously served as executive director of finance for Piedmont Augusta and Piedmont McDuffie, where she played a key role in financial planning, performance improvement initiatives and strategic decision‑making across the region. A certified public accountant, she holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in accounting.

Since joining Piedmont Augusta in 2002 as a staff accountant, McLain has steadily advanced in leadership roles, building a reputation for her deep understanding of financial operations, analytical expertise and commitment to supporting the organization’s mission. In her most recent role, she has managed financial forecasting, pro forma development and local financial performance plans, while serving as a critical liaison between the local finance team and Piedmont’s corporate Financial Planning and Analysis division.

“Nikki is an exceptional leader whose deep understanding of our financial operations, combined with her commitment to our mission of providing high-quality, patient-centered care, makes her the ideal person to guide our Augusta Hub into the future,” said Lily Henson, MD, CEO of Piedmont Augusta. “She is highly respected by colleagues across Piedmont, and her growth within our organization reflects our commitment to developing and promoting top talent from within. We are fortunate to have her step into this critical role.”

“Throughout her career, Nikki has demonstrated a strong command of financial operations and a commitment to responsible stewardship,” said Tom Arnold, the Piedmont system’s chief financial officer. “Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue strengthening our financial performance and supporting sustainable growth across the Augusta region.”

As CFO, McLain will oversee all financial functions for the Augusta Hub, ensuring continued fiscal stewardship and supporting strategic growth across the region.
