Piedmont Athens Regional to host Cancer Survivors Day celebration
Athens, Ga. (June 1, 2026) — Piedmont Athens Regional will host its annual Cancer Survivors Day celebration on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support.
The event, themed “A Celebration of Life: Honoring Strength and Resilience,” will recognize cancer survivors while offering encouragement to those recently diagnosed and support for families, friends and the community.
Guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon of wellness activities, including yoga, mindfulness exercises, a nature walk and hands-on crafts.
