Piedmont Athens Regional offers free breastfeeding education event
Athens, Ga. (August 25, 2026) – Piedmont Athens Regional will host “Nourishing the Next Generation,” a free breastfeeding education event, on Saturday, August 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Services Building, 242 King Ave., third floor, in Athens.
Held during World Breastfeeding Month, the event will provide education, support and resources for soon-to-be and new parents. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops on infant CPR and car seat safety, receive breastfeeding support from Piedmont Athens Regional lactation consultants, view breast pump demonstrations and connect with community organizations and resources.
