Snellville, Ga. (May 21, 2026) – In recognition of American Stroke Month, Piedmont Eastside Medical Center will host “Stroke in Action: An Interactive Stroke Symptom Experience” on Wednesday, May 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the lobby of Medical Plaza 1, located at 1700 Tree Lane, Snellville, Ga. 30078.

Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability, but early recognition and treatment can significantly improve outcomes. The free, hands-on community event will give community members an engaging way to learn how to recognize stroke symptoms, lower their risk and respond quickly in an emergency.

Attendees can stop by at any time to play interactive games, win prizes and enjoy light refreshments.

“Recognizing stroke symptoms quickly can save a life,” said Cierra Blank, RN, stroke manager at Piedmont Eastside. “We designed this experience to be memorable, so people feel confident taking action when it matters most.”

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
