Learn about senior health and healthy aging at Walk With a Doc
Columbus, Ga. (April 22, 2026) – Join geriatric medicine provider Jamal Mohyuddin, M.D., with Spring Harbor at Green Island at Piedmont Columbus Regional’s next Walk With a Doc event on Thursday, May 21, at Cooper Creek Park.
This walk will be focused on healthy aging and take place during Columbus Parks and Recreation’s annual Senior Picnic. Check-in begins at 10 a.m., followed by warm-ups and one mile walk at 10:30 a.m.
“I’ll be there to answer any questions you may have and share valuable information on exercise, nutrition, sleep and more that will empower you to adopt healthy habits and make positive lifestyle changes that contribute to overall health and well-being as we age,” said Dr. Mohyuddin.

Additionally, the Piedmont Mobile Unit bus will be at the Senior Picnic providing free blood pressure screenings and sharing more health information.
