Columbus, Ga. (March 30, 2026) — The John B. Amos Cancer Center will host free head and neck cancer screenings on Tuesday, April 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the June Wright Conference Room (2nd floor of the cancer center).

Head and neck cancers can affect our ability to speak, eat, drink and swallow. If found early, however, they can be successfully treated.

“You’re at-risk if you use alcohol or tobacco, have persistent neck mass or pain in the mouth/throat or are infected with HPV,” said Gregory Foster, M.D., with the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Family Medicine Center.

Contact John B. Amos Cancer Center Oncology Outreach Coordinator Tenetta Holt at 706-320-8700 or Tenetta.Holt@piedmont.org if you have any questions.
