Georgia High School Association, Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta pair for ortho, sports medicine care

Atlanta, Ga. (March 17, 2026) — Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta is proud to announce its partnership with the Georgia High School Association, designating the practice as the official orthopedic and sports medicine provider of the GHSA.

For more than 30 years, Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta has cared for athletes across the state of Georgia—providing expert, compassionate care to help them stay healthy, recover stronger, and return to the sports they love. With 25 locations and more than 100 physicians and healthcare providers, Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta brings exceptional access and experience to athletes, coaches, and families throughout Georgia.

Through this partnership, Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta and GHSA will collaborate on a range of programs designed to enhance athlete safety, education, and well-being. These initiatives include a coach and administrator Sports Medicine and First Aid Educational Series, mentorship programs for students pursuing careers in sports medicine or athletic training, easy access programs to support athletes in rural and underserved areas, and educational resources for athlete families on injury prevention and wellness.
