Macon, Ga. (July 21, 2026) – Srinivasa Chennareddy, M.D., an interventionalist cardiologist with more than two decades of clinical experience, has joined Piedmont Heart of Macon on the campus of Piedmont Macon Medical Center.

Dr. Chennareddy practiced in Virginia, Alabama and at Piedmont Henry in McDonough before moving to Macon. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, structural heart disease and other complex cardiac conditions using the latest minimally-invasive techniques. He treats adults, including geriatric patients.

“Advances in cardiovascular medicine allow us to treat heart disease more effectively than ever before, but prevention and education remain just as important as intervention,” he said. “I believe in creating individualized treatment plans that empower patients to improve their heart health today and for years to come.”

Board-certified in interventional cardiology, Dr. Chennareddy earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India before pursuing advanced medical training in the United States. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and had fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at St. Michael’s Medical Center, an affiliate of Seton Hall University. While there, he received multiple awards for teaching.

Dr. Chennareddy has mentored Internal Medicine residents at Wellstar Spalding Medical Center and served as a clinical preceptor for medical students from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

“I’m honored to bring my experience in interventional cardiology to Macon and to serve patients across Middle Georgia,” he said. “I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to provide advanced, personalized heart care that meets the needs of our community.”

Outside of medicine, Dr. Chennareddy said he enjoys teaching, reading, watching football and cricket, and spending time with his family.
