Clinical Simulation Center

Residency programs at Piedmont Macon provide high-quality simulation-based experiences for its residents and medical students. The Simulation Center features state-of-the-art, high-technology equipment, including a lifelike mannequin that simulates actual childbirth.

The Center has patient care simulation spaces with associated control and independent debrief rooms, as well as lecture space. While utilizing this space, learners are able to perform numerous invasive procedures, work within teams, and develop their skills as a physician without the risk of patient harm.
