Internal Medicine Program Curriculum and Rotations

The program offers a dynamic and exciting didactic curriculum that includes: Morning Reports, clinical case conferences from specialists, QI and safety conferences, content from evidence-based medicine, cost-conscious care, board review sessions, hands-on simulation sessions, journal clubs, DEI Series and the fundamentals of the business of medicine.

Rotations

  • The program designs each resident’s rotations to fit the needs of the resident’s future career plans while still providing a solid foundation in Internal Medicine. Residents are able to select elective rotations and other experiences that will enhance their knowledge as they prepare to become independent physicians at the end of training.
  • In addition to selection of rotations, residents are asked to participate in other activities, such as didactic sessions, quality improvement initiatives and scholarly activities.

  • Away Rotations : For residents interested in fellowships, away rotations are available on a needs basis.
