Overview
The Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital is west Georgia and east Alabama’s only children’s hospital. Located at Piedmont Columbus Regional, this state-of-the-art children’s medical center cares for sick and injured infants, children and teens, from birth to age 18.
In addition to specialty inpatient care, our facility has the space to expand future pediatric programs and services to meet the needs of our diverse community.

Our caring, pediatrics-trained team and kid-friendly atmosphere ensure your child receives the highest quality care in a comforting, supportive environment. Our services include:
- Pediatric surgery for congenital, developmental, inflammatory, neoplastic and traumatic conditions.
- Pediatric intensive care for critically ill or injured children.
- Pediatric emergency care, located just up the hill from the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
- Pediatric infusion services provide accessible, convenient outpatient care for patients who require regular intravenous (IV) infusion therapy for conditions like diabetes, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, immunodeficiency disorders, sickle cell disease and others. Each patient receives treatments in a comfortable private room with seating for their parent or guardian.
- Pediatric endocrinology, with the only pediatric endocrinologist in the Chattahoochee Valley, as well as certified diabetes educators and registered dietitians who provide comprehensive care for patients with Type 1 diabetes.
- Pediatric neurology, with the only pediatric neurologist in the Chattahoochee Valley. The team treats pediatric neuromuscular diseases, seizures, headaches, movement disorders and other neurological issues.
- Child life services to help ease the stress and anxiety children may experience during their hospital stays.
