Greeters and Escort Staff

In addition to the main information desk in the hospital lobby, there are three areas on the hospital campus where greeters and escort team members stand ready to help you confirm appointments, locate patient rooms, and provide wheelchair transportation and assistance to any on-campus location. Locations are as follows:

Greeters have telephone and network access to Piedmont's scheduling and registration systems and the Internet. They can provide brochures, maps, public transportation information and other materials upon request.

  • Ground Floor, 95 building.
  • First Floor, 95 building near the South Parking Deck.
  • First Floor, 77 building near the North Parking Deck.
  • Lower Level, 77 building near the North Parking Deck.
  • Main Information Desk, located in the main hospital lobby, near the gift shop and "A" elevators.


Patient Representatives

Our patient relations representatives assist patients and their family members throughout their hospital stay. They answer questions regarding hospital routines, patient advocacy issues and non-clinical patient and family concerns, and provide courtesy services to complement the clinical staff, allowing them to stay focused on the patient's medical care. Other ways patient reps can help include:

  • Assisting families with local lodging and dining arrangements.
  • Providing directions.
  • Handling complaints and concerns from patients and family members, and relaying them to the appropriate personnel for quick resolution.
  • Providing consultation on Advanced Directives (directive for final healthcare).
  • Processing suggestions on improvements in hospital processes to make hospital visits more patient- and family-friendly.
